MARGARET had a child SARAH JANE NICHOLL born -OOW on 29 June 1886 inDungannon nursing home Co Tyrone.Margaret passed Sarah off as her own sister & later left the child in thecare of her parents John & (name unknown) & went off to marry a Mr SIMPSON.
Her last known home was in or near BALLYNAHINCH, possibly LAURELVALE. Shehad 3 more children FLORENCE, CLARA & ALFRED SIMPSON. She never told her Simpson children that Sarah Jane Nicholl was their halfsister. Sarah Janes NICKLE grand mother died c. 1902.
ELLEN NICKLE married ROBERT WHITLOCK, a blacksmith from POLNNAGH, Co ARMAGH. She had many children (we have that line) & lived in Caledon until she died in 1927.
DAVID NICHOLL married late to ELIZABETH BROWN, a farmers daughter and we know lived in Caledon until he died. There are tales to tell, but the need, as always to fill in what happened to Margarets Simpson family. What were Johns origins & what was the name of his wife.
